Mission Description
- Context: The classroom sometimes gets too noisy during group work. Let’s make a Noise Alert Buddy to help everyone know when to quiet down. This device will “listen” to the room’s sound level.
- Task: Use a sound sensor (microphone) on the Junkbot Core and an LED or happy/sad face on the display. Program the device to detect loud sound (like clapping or shouting). If it gets too loud, the device shows a warning face or blinks a light. When it’s quiet, it can show a happy face or a green light.
- Expected Output: A noise-monitoring gadget that gives a visual signal when the class is too loud. For example, a smiley face is displayed during normal noise, but a frowning face or flashing light appears when noise goes above the set level – reminding everyone to lower their voices in a friendly way.
