Mission Description
- Context: Imagine you’re carrying a precious robot egg that shouldn’t be shaken – or it might “hatch” too early! We need a device that alerts us if we move too much. This can teach careful movements and even simulate an earthquake alarm.
- Task: Using the Junkbot Core’s motion sensor (accelerometer), code a project that detects a strong shake or tilt. If the device is shaken or tilted beyond a small movement, it should trigger an alarm – for example, make a buzzer sound or an LED flash. Keep it quiet when it’s handled gently.
- Expected Output: A shaking alert device that reacts to motion. During testing, if you jiggle or drop the gadget, it immediately lights up and/or plays a sound (like an alarm or buzzer). If you hold it steady, it stays quiet. This mission results in a simple “earthquake alarm” or “don’t drop me” device created with drag-and- drop coding.
