Mission Description
- Context: A younger sibling is afraid to sleep in the dark. Let’s design a Smart Nightlight that knows when it’s dark in the room and turns itself on to comfort them.
- Task: Build a nightlight using a light sensor and an LED. In your code, check the light sensor’s value – if the room light is dim or off, then automatically turn on an LED (acting as a lamp). If the room is bright, the LED stays off. You can house the light in a small paper lantern for creativity.
- Expected Output: A nightlight that automatically glows when the room gets dark and shuts off when it’s bright. For example, covering the sensor with your hand (simulating darkness) makes the LED come on, and removing your hand (simulating daylight) makes it turn off. This helps save energy and provides comfort at night.
